May Hashem Who Blessed Our Patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

and Who Blessed Our Matriarchs, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah

and the Pioneers Who Built Up Our Land, and All the Heroes of Israel Protecting Our Home,

Who has reached the age of mitsvah and ascended to the Torah,

For the honor of Hashem, the honor of the Torah, and the honor of Shabbat,

For the honor of the land of Israel and with love for the People of Israel,

For the holiness of Life and the joyous celebration of the bar/bat mitsvah,

In praise and gratitude to God for all the good which He has given us.

 

In the merit of this holy congregation which passes down to him/her today the Tree of Life,

the blessing and the covenant, To continue the long chain of generations

and to plant faith, responsibility and commitment in the soil of our people and this land.

In the merit of this holy congregation which blesses him/her

and all the young men and women of his/her generation with long, blessed lives,

of meaning, hope, rebirth, and love for the people of Israel.

In the merit of this holy congregation which prays for the safety and wellbeing of

the soldiers, the evacuees, the wounded, and for the rapid return of all the hostages to this home.

 

In merit of all this, may the Holy Blessed One bless him/her and protect him/her

saving him/her from all troubles, from any illness and disease,

and send him/her, his/her family, and all the people of Israel

lives of blessing, health, and the joy of Torah

 

As he/she has reached the age of mitsvot So too may he/she, together with all of his/her generation,

reach a life of peace and happiness, good deeds, and marriage and a happy home,

strengthening and supporting each other their entire lives.

May we be strong—for rebirth and for blessing.

Restore us to our good land so may it be Your Will, and let us say, Amen.
