אלוהינו ואלוהי אבותינו ואמותינו, שמור עלינו ועל היקרים והיקרות לנו מפני הצער והיסורים המתרגשים עלינו לנוכח הפרעות הפוקדות אותנו.
תן בנו את הכח להתגבר על הכאב, היסורים והפחד השוטף אותנו. תן לנו שכל ישר ורוח איתנה לעשות ככל שניתן לשמור על בריאות גופנו ונפשנו ולשמור על כל סביבתנו.
תן תבונה, כח, אומץ לב ותושיה בידי לוחמינו ולוחמותינו, שבחזית ובעורף. חזק ושמור לבם ונפשם נוכח קרבות ומראות שהנפש מתקשה להכיל.
תן הגיון ותבונה בידי מנהיגותינו ומנהיגינו, שידעו לנתב את עמנו לתוך חזון ומציאות של חיים, שקט, בטחון, תקווה ושלום ויפעלו להקטין את הפגיעות בגוף ובנפש עלינו ועל כל החפים והחפות מפשע מכל צידי המערכה.
אנא שמור על נפשם וחייהם של אלו המוחזקים והמוחזקות בשבי, מעט סבלם, חזק וחבק אותם באהבתך ובאהבתנו, עד שנוכל להתאחד עמם יחד. שמור והגן על אלו שנבצר מהם להגן על עצמם וסייע לנו לתמוך ולהגן עליהם ככל יכולתינו.
רפא, חזק ואמץ את הפצועים והפצועות בקרבנו ותן אורך רוח ותעצומות נפש בלב המטפלים והמטפלות.
שתתגלה השכינה בקרבנו כקרן אור רחומה של תקווה וקדושת החיים, שתחזק ידינו וליבנו לנתיבי החלמה וריפוי ויקוים בנו מקרא שכתוב: "ובחרת בחיים למען תחייה אתה וזרעך לאהבה" (דברים ל׳)
ברוך אתה ה׳ המחזיר ברחמיו שכינתו לציון, לחיים ולשלום על כל היושבים בקרבה.
Our God and God of our ancestors, watch over us and over our loved ones from the trouble and torment we face during these violent attacks.
Give us the strength to overcome the pain, suffering and fear that engulf us. Give us a sound mind and a tenacious spirit to do everything to maintain our physical and mental health and to care for those around us.
Give our defenders on the front lines and on the home front wisdom, strength, courage and resourcefulness. Fortify and guard their hearts and souls in the face of battles and sights that the mind can barely endure.
Give our leaders reason and wisdom to navigate our people toward security, hope and peace.
Please watch over the souls and lives of those being held hostage, minimize their suffering, strengthen and embrace them with Your love and ours. May they return soon to their loved ones. Guard and protect those who cannot protect themselves and help us support and defend them as best we can.
Heal, strengthen and give courage to the injured and give patience and spiritual resources to their caretakers.
May the Shechinah be revealed in our midst like a merciful ray of light, hope and sanctity of life. May it strengthen our hearts and minds and open paths of healing and recovery, and may we fulfil the verse: "ובחרת בחיים למען תחייה אתה וזרעך לאהבה" “Choose life so you and your offspring would live by loving” (Deuteronomy 30).
Baruch are you Adonai, who in compassion restores the Shechinah to Zion, bringing life and shalom to all who dwell in Her midst.
